Raised in the swamps of Louisiana in the 1980s, the design bug first bit me in high school while working on the school newspaper and yearbook. I honed those skills in the frozen tundra of Minnesota and bounced between those two for while before ending up on the beaches of San Diego, where I live with my girlfriend and our awesome son.
I love gaming, comics, geek culture, fantasy, sci-fi, pro wrestling/lucha libre, punk rock, hip hop, tiki, and The Big Lebowski. My favorite art styles are Art Nouveau and rock posters. All of these interests have influenced my work.
Since graduating from college in the early 2000s, I've worked alongside a number of print shops, designing a little bit of everything: logos, shirts, stickers, business cards, trifolds, banners, and vehicle wraps just to name a few.
Around 2009, I got into the world of independent comics doing pre-press and production work, and eventually lettering. I have served as the Head of Design and Production for multiple indie comics studios. Some of the most well-known IP's I've worked on are Transformers, Iron Maiden, Evil Dead 2, and Deadlands.
My favorite areas of design are logo/branding work and comics lettering/book design; I'm also itching to do some more designing for board and card games. I'm always looking for new projects. If you've got one, drop me a line below!
